MICROSEALER-50

Single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane primer for a variety of surfaces.

MICROSEALER-50 primer is a single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane primer dedicated to various surfaces. It creates a high-quality bonding layer for HYPERDESMO membranes and HYPERFLOOR self-flowing resin floors. For priming highly and medium-porous surfaces as well as smooth ones (glass, metals). It can be used on dry and very damp concrete, and even so-called “green concrete”. Deeply penetrates absorbent substrates, strengthening their structure. Also used as an economical impregnant.

APPLICATION

  • Priming before application of liquid polyurethane membranes.
  • Use on various surfaces: concrete (dry and damp), ceramic tiles, stone, glass, marble, metal.
  • It can act as an impregnation increasing the durability of the surface.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • One-component – easy to apply.
  • Low viscosity – good substrate penetration.
  • Can be used on wet concrete.
  • High elasticity (extensibility >300%).
  • Perfect adhesion to smooth surfaces (glass, metal).
  • Can be tinted with pigments.
  • An economical solution for impregnation and surface protection.

CONSUMPTION

  • 100–200 g/m², depending on the porosity of the surface.

PACKAGING

  • Capacities: 1L, 5L, 10L, 20L.

CERTIFICATION

  • Compliance with ΕΟΤΑ (European Organization of Technical Approval) standards.
  • ISO 9001/14001 & OHSAS 18001.

HYPERDESMO SYSTEM application guide

APPLICATION

  • Preparation of the substrate: Cleaning the surface of dirt, removing cement laitance and old membranes.
  • Optional: Adding quartz sand to level out uneven surfaces.
  • Application: Brush, roller or airless spray.
  • Drying time:
    • On dry cement: 4-6 hours.
    • Application of the next layer (e.g. HYPERDESMO® membrane): 12-24 hours.
    • If 24 hours are exceeded, chemical re-activation is necessary.
• priming concrete (also wet),
• priming ceramic tiles and stone slabs,
• priming smooth surfaces such as glass and marble,
• priming metal surfaces (sheet metal, etc.)
Also used for impregnation.
