AQUASMART – Coatings based on water dispersion of polyurethane
Polyurethane coatings and paints based on water dispersion are used to improve thermal insulation properties both inside and outside the building and to protect polyurethane foams, roofs, canopies and insulation under tiles in wet rooms. The products are based on water, are easy to apply and repair.
One-component polyurethane paint with thermal insulation properties.
Two-component, 100% aliphatic waterproofing membrane based on polyurethane dispersion in water (Zero VOC)

What is Polyurethane Paint?
Polyurethane paint with thermal or waterproofing properties, which is the subject of our interest, is a coating based on water dispersion of polyurethane . For a fuller understanding, imagine a liquid in which plastic particles are crushed – in this case synthetic resin – this is the dispersion process, i.e. one of the construction chemistry processes. Liquid paint, after being applied to the surface and the water evaporating, creates a compact, uniform protective coating. This is a modern generation product, 100% ecological and harmless to the natural environment. Polyurethane paint can be single-component (in our offer paint with the Thermo marking) or two-component polyurethane paint (Hybrid marking) .
Polyurethane paint – a modern way to improve the thermal insulation and waterproofing properties of horizontal and vertical building coatings
Polyurethane coating is a convenient and easy-to-apply water-based substance that increases the insulation or waterproofing effect of the protected element – the walls of the building. It can be applied using commonly available tools such as: brush, roller or spray. It is characterized by excellent adhesion, thanks to which it is easy to apply on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Its use – due to its high resistance to all weather conditions – is both inside and outside the building. The use of additional thermal protection guarantees energy efficiency in winter – it minimizes heat losses, and in summer it prevents excessive heating of the walls.
Properties and main tasks of polyurethane paint
Polyurethane coatings and water-based paints as a method for effective waterproofing and thermal insulation of a building
A technological novelty and an innovative solution are products with artificial resin particles dispersed in a liquid (in this case, water), which are characterized by protective properties and effective protection. Polyurethane coatings are, in the most general definition, resin products that are characterized by, among others, 100% ecological properties, technological modernity, are user-friendly and practical in use. Polyurethane paints and coatings are increasingly conquering the market of our construction – private and commercial. It is worth considering them in the process of forming building structures as to assumptions that are exceptionally resistant to the effects of water and moisture, temperature changes and other atmospheric factors.
- Resin carpet
- Polyurethane resin
The coatings and paints we offer based on water dispersion are designed to perfectly strengthen the thermal insulation barrier and waterproofing both inside and outside the building. Additionally, polyurethane coatings are easy to apply and maintain, repair and preserve.
What is an aliphatic and hydrophobic coating - some of the characteristic features of polyurethane paints?
Coatings and paints based on water dispersion are completely aliphatic, which means that they do not turn yellow as a result of solar expansion, are perfectly resistant to UV radiation and high temperatures, and also maintain full flexibility at extremely low temperatures. Additionally, the hydrophobicity of the created polyurethane coating ensures that the layer is non-absorbent and completely repels water molecules. The same effect as observed in nature, for example by looking at a drop of water on a butterfly wing.
- Stone carpet for the terrace
- Foundation waterproofing
The products offered – in the field of polyurethane coatings and paints – which meet both of the above properties are:
AQUASMENT-THERMO – single-component paint with thermal insulation properties; in winter it maintains heat and reduces heat loss, while in summer it prevents the building from heating up too quickly;
AQUASMENT – HYBRID – two-component coating with waterproofing functionality
Passive, ecological, intelligent houses – think about excellent protection and budget savings thanks to polyurethane paint – based on water dispersion
In the era of concern for ecology, savings, energy efficiency, etc. in the use of houses and apartments – dedicated thermal and waterproofing products (such as the discussed polyurethane coatings and paints) are the answer to the growing demand and trends. These products will allow you to properly protect the building, while contributing to the strengthening of the thermal and hydro values of the structure.
Polyurethane coatings and paints are used, among others, for:
Improving the properties of walls inside and outside;
Protection of polyurethane foams;
Protection of roofs and all types of roofing;
Bridging cracks;
Insulation under tiles in places particularly exposed to moisture.
Additionally, it is worth remembering about the ease of application of polyurethane coatings and paints on many types of surfaces: concrete, stucco, or acrylic paints.
