HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C-1K-ELASTIC Waterproofing mortar

HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C-1K-ELASTIC is a single-component waterproofing mortar based on cement binders, hydrophobic polymers and high-tech additives. It is characterized by excellent workability, easy application and very strong adhesion. Its special formula protects against moisture and shows excellent mechanical properties. Apply with a trowel, brush or roller in two layers of 1.0-2.0 mm thick each.

APPLICATION

HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C-1K-ELASTIC is a single-component, elastic cement mortar , enriched with hydrophobic polymers and fibers. It is intended for:

Waterproofing of bathrooms, fountains, swimming pools (under tiles), roofs, balconies .
Securing water reservoirs and concrete structures .
Protection of foundations, tunnels, retaining walls and underground structures .
Insulation of mineral surfaces exposed to atmospheric factors .

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Single-component product – mixed only with water.
Resistance to water pressure (positive and negative) .
Excellent adhesion to various substrates (concrete, cement, stone, prefabricated panels) .

Can be applied under ceramic tiles, stone and epoxy paints .

LIMITATIONS

Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C .
Do not apply to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight or strong wind .
Protect from rain and frost for the first 24-48 hours .
Do not use in direct contact with chlorinated water (e.g. in swimming pools) .

CONSUMPTION

1.2 kg/m² per 1 mm of coating thickness .
Apply at least 2 mm (2 layers) .

PACKAGING

20 kg bag (colour: grey).

CLEANING

Clean tools with water immediately after application .
Once dry, cleaning is only possible mechanically .

STORAGE PERIOD

12 months in original, closed packaging (5-25°C).

CERTIFICATION

CE compliant with EN 14891:2012 – waterproofing mortar for tiles.
ISO 9001/14001 & ISO 45001 .

APPLICATION

Preparation of the substrate:
- The surface must be clean, stable and moisturized before application.
- Remove oils, paints, release agents and loose particles.
- Repair irregularities with EPOXY RESIN-21-T or HYGROSMART®-FIX&FINISH epoxy resin .
Priming:
- It is enough to moisten the surface with water before application.
Mixing:
- Mix mechanically (500 rpm) for 3-5 minutes until a uniform consistency is obtained.
- For trowel application: 20 kg of product + 3.8 kg of water.
- For roller application: 20 kg of product + 6.6 kg of water.
Application:
- Application method: brush, roller or trowel.
- Minimum consumption: 1.2 kg/m² per 1 mm of coating thickness .
- Apply in two layers, each 1.0-2.0 mm thick .
- Apply the second layer after 3 hours .
- If the surface dries out, moisten again before applying the second coat .

Fountains, bathrooms, wet rooms, roofs and balconies, swimming pools (under tiles) and any mineral surface exposed to atmospheric factors
