Two-component, thixotropic, quick-setting, high-performance, highly deformable mineral adhesive for the installation of facings made of materials such as ceramics, marble, natural and artificial stone, clinker and stoneware.
HYGROSMART®-ADHESIVE ULTRA-2K Cementitious Adhesive
HYGROSMART®-ADHESIVE ULTRA-2K cement adhesive is a highly flexible, high-performance, quick-setting (F) cementitious (C) thixotropic (T) adhesive with an extended open time (E), meeting the requirements for class C2FTE.
APPLICATION
✔ Bonding of all types and sizes of ceramic tiles, natural and artificial stones.
✔ Suitable for use on cement screeds, concrete and gypsum plasters.
✔ Recommended as a tile adhesive on substrates with a HYPERDESMO® waterproofing membrane .

CONSUMPTION
✔ 2.5-3 kg/m² – mosaics and small tiles ( 4 mm trowel ).

✔ 5-6 kg/m² – large format tiles, outdoor floors ( 6 mm trowel ).
✔ 8 kg/m² or more – uneven substrates, natural stone ( 10 mm trowel ).

APPLICATION
- Preparation of the substrate:
- Remove oils, fats, waxes and loose particles.
- Fill any unevenness, e.g. with HYGROSMART®-Fix&Finish mortar .
- Mixing:
- Combine 25 kg of component A with 6.25 kg of component B.
- Mix mechanically at low speed until a uniform paste is obtained.
- Application:
- Use a notched trowel appropriate to the tile format.
- Apply a thin layer of glue to the substrate and the underside of the tile.
- Lay the tiles by pressing them carefully into the adhesive.
- Important recommendations:
- Opening time: approx. 30 minutes.
- The surface cannot be washed or exposed to rain for 3-4 hours .
- Protect from strong sun for 12 hours after application.
