Injection resins for concrete

Single-component hydrophobic polyurethane resin reacts with moisture to form a tight, durable and, depending on the type used, inflexible or flexible joint. Injection resin is used to seal and stop leaks from foundations, water tanks, drains, tunnels and underground passages or sewage systems. Products that are easy to apply and environmentally friendly: they do not contain solvents or other substances that create harmful fumes.

Injection resins for concrete are an effective way to seal cracks and repair concrete.

There is often a problem with cracks in the concrete structure, where injection resins work perfectly. This cannot be underestimated due to the weight of the building material. Any breaches in its continuity must be properly sealed and secured. The question arises: What to seal concrete with? How to repair any damage in concrete. Regardless of whether we are dealing with expansion joints, cracks in industrial structures, public use or private structures, we offer resin injection products for all repairs of concrete continuity breaks.

What is concrete injection resin?

It is a single-component mass based on polyurethane resin, which reacts with moisture from the air (in this case, there is no need to mix it with a separate component, the so-called hardener) to create a durable, flexible or inflexible (depending on our needs) coating, a joint that perfectly fills the broken surface, binding it permanently and safely. The joint created in this way is extremely resistant to all factors, even seismic movements or heavy traffic. For this reason, the injection resin for concrete is suitable for use in professional, serious and difficult concrete damage. It is a way to strengthen and seal such structures as:

  • Foundations,
  • Underground structures, e.g. garages,
  • Tunnels & Underpasses,
  • Sewage systems,
  • Tanks,
  • Water canals & dams.

Safety and maintenance of concrete structures using injection resin

Resin injection masses ensure the safety and solidity of concrete structures in the event of any gaps or free spaces in the concrete, water leaks, loss of continuity, or the risk of further damage to concrete structures.

Method of applying injection resin to concrete

Injection resin masses are applied directly to the defects using an injection pump. Penetration of the defect is comprehensive and very deep. There is no possibility of leaving any gap or free space. The product is 100% ecological, environmentally friendly, does not contain any solvents, organic compounds and toxic to the environment, both during application and use.

Hydrophobicity of the injection resin – perfectly non-absorbent coating

Single-component injection grout for concrete is a fully hydrophobic coating, which means that the particles and high-tech mass contained in it provide a specific “repulsion” of water molecules and are thus perfectly protected against water and moisture. Injection resin for sealing concrete is characterized not only by poor water adhesion to its surface, but also by biological protection, i.e. against destructive factors such as fungi, microorganisms and mold.

We recommend, for example, injection masses for concrete, suitably plastic and inflexible:

Waterfoam FHF (heavy duty non-flexible joint)
Waterfoam – 1K-LV (flexible joint).
