The AQUASMART® PU-2K polyurethane membrane is an innovative solution that provides durable waterproofing of roofs , effectively protecting them against water, moisture and UV rays. Thanks to its flexibility and seamless application, it works perfectly on both new and renovation roof coverings, eliminating the risk of leaks and damage to the structure. The polyurethane membrane creates a weather-resistant coating that guarantees the longevity and reliability of the roof system.

AQUASMART PU-2K is a two-component, based on polyurethane dispersion in water, 100% aliphatic (non-yellowing, non-chalking) liquid polyurethane membrane. No volatile organic compounds (Zero VOC), odorless product. The membrane shows excellent mechanical, thermal and UV resistance parameters. It shows thixotropic rheology. This is the only liquid polyurethane membrane on the market based on water dispersion technology, which in the certification process obtained the highest durability class (W3) in accordance with ETAG-005.

✔ Roof waterproofing and protection with PUR foam (roof waterproofing, roof covering protection, roof sealing, roof renovation).

✔ Encapsulation of roofs containing asbestos.

CONSUMPTION

✔ Application with a roller or brush:

First layer: 1.5 kg/m².
Second coat: 1-1.2 kg/m².
✔ Spray application: 1 kg/m² per coat.
✔ Minimum recommended total consumption: 2.7 kg/m² .

Storage period: min. 12 months at 5-25°C .

APPLICATION

Preparation of the substrate:
- Clean the surface with a pressure washer.
- Remove dirt, old low-adhesion membranes and cement laitance.
- Fill gaps and seal cracks.
Priming:
- Depending on the substrate, an appropriate primer should be used ( AQUADUR , AQUASMART-DUR , UNIVERSAL PRIMER , MICROSEALER-PU ).
Mixing:
- Use a mechanical mixer ( 300 rpm ).
- Mix both ingredients, add 5-10% water to adjust the viscosity.
Application:
- First layer: 1.5 kg/m² by roller or spray.
- Second layer: 1-1.2 kg/m², applied wet on wet or after hardening of the first layer.
- Minimum total thickness: 1.5 mm.
Application conditions:
- Do not apply below 5°C or before expected rainfall.
