HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C Waterproofing mortar
HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C is a single-component, fibre-reinforced waterproofing mortar based on cement with the addition of synthetic and inorganic polymers. When mixed with water, it produces a uniform, fluid mortar with excellent workability and easy application. High adhesion and excellent mechanical properties result in a coating free from cracks and fractures, resistant to hydrostatic pressure. HYGROSMART® -IMPER-C is the optimal solution for waterproofing water tanks and basements. Apply in one or more layers, each 1.0 mm thick.
APPLICATION
HYGROSMART®-IMPER-C is a single-component, flexible cement-based waterproofing mortar enriched with polymers and fibres, intended for:
- Waterproofing of concrete and concrete structures .
- Protection of water reservoirs, swimming pools and flower pots .
- Protection of foundations, tunnels and underground structures .
- Waterproofing of wet rooms (laundries, toilets, bathrooms) .

- Very good adhesion to concrete and cement surfaces .
- Fully waterproof – resistant to hydrostatic pressure.
- Resistance to weather conditions and aggressive environments .
- Prevents scratches and cracks – flexible and resistant to substrate stress.
- Easy to mix and apply – apply by brush or spray.
- Good vapor permeability – allows the substrate to “breathe”.
LIMITATIONS
- Application temperature range: +5°C to +35°C .
- Do not use on metal surfaces .
- Do not add more water than recommended – it affects the durability of the coating.
CONSUMPTION
- 2-2.5 kg/m² in two layers.
PACKAGING
- 25 kg bag (colour: grey) .
STORAGE PERIOD
- 12 months in original packaging, at a temperature of 5-25°C .

- CE compliant with EN 1504-2 – concrete protection system.

APPLICATION
- Preparation of the substrate:
- The surface must be clean, damp, free of dust and grease.
- Remove cement laitance and loose concrete particles.
- Repair any damage with HYGROSMART®- BUILDING-F or EPOXY RESIN-21-T mortar .
- Mixing:
- Gradually add 7-8 kg of water per 25 kg of product , mixing mechanically.
- It is possible to use the HYPERLATEX additive , which increases elasticity.
- Application:
- Application method: brush, trowel or spray.
- Layers:
- Apply 1.0 mm per layer , avoid thick layers,
- Apply the next layer after 6-24 hours , depending on the temperature.
- Minimum total consumption: 2-2.5 kg/m² .
