HYPERDESMO® AQUA is a single-component, water-based, aliphatic polyurethane coating used for waterproofing and surface protection. The product was developed by ALCHIMICA , using innovative water-based polyurethane dispersion technology.
Application
HYPERDESMO® AQUA is intended for:
- Waterproofing of roofs, concrete and metal surfaces (roof waterproofing, roof covering protection, roof sealing, roof renovation).
- Protection of polyurethane foams.
- Applications under tiles in humid rooms (e.g. bathrooms, swimming pools).
- Protecting concrete structures against carbonization.
- Lightweight roof coverings made of metal or fibre cement.

- Very fast drying – shortens application time and allows the surface to be quickly put into use.

- Roller/brush:
- First layer: 0.6-0.8 kg/m²
- Second layer: 0.6-0.9 kg/m²
- Airless spray: 0.5 kg/m² per coat
- Minimum total consumption for waterproofing: >1.5 kg/m²
- Consumption for protection as paint: 0.5 kg/m²

Application
HYPERDESMO® AQUA can be used on a variety of substrates, including:
- Concrete, cement, cement roof tiles.
- Wood, galvanized metal, PU foam.
Application procedure:
- Substrate preparation – cleaning the surface of oils, grease, loose particles and old coatings.
- Priming – use of an appropriate primer (e.g. AQUADUR, AQUASMART®-DUR) depending on the type of substrate.
- Mixing – Mix at low speed (300 rpm) to achieve a uniform consistency.
- Application – application by roller, brush or spray in 2 or more layers.
