THIXO-TOOL

THIXO-TOOL  is an additive developed by Alchimica to solve the difficulties associated with the application of HYPERDESMO ^® liquid membranes  on very sloping and vertical surfaces.  It is recommended to add 10-30% of the product, depending on the degree of slope of the surface, its condition and the desired consumption.  THIXO-TOOL can be used together with Accelerator 3000A when the use of an atalyser is recommended.  THIXO-TOOL should not be used for membranes with bituminous additives, i.e. HYPERDESMO ^® -PB, single or two-component.

APPLICATION

THIXO-TOOL™ is an additive that modifies the thixotropic properties of HYPERDESMO® polyurethane liquid membranes . It is used for:

• Waterproofing of vertical and sloping surfaces – prevents the membrane from flowing, allowing application in one or two layers.
• Waterproofing of surfaces with a strong texture – provides a uniform layer, reducing the risk of bubbles.
• Protection of roofs with uneven surfaces – increases the adhesion of the membrane to the substrate.
• Membrane stabilization on corrugated surfaces – allows for control of layer thickness in hard-to-reach places.

• Does not affect the viscosity of the membrane – maintains ease of application.
• Compatible with Accelerator 3000A – can be used in conjunction with a catalytic converter.

• Coating for uneven surfaces – self-leveling membrane, coating thickness control.
• Not suitable for bituminous membranes – do not use in HYPERDESMO®-PB products.

CONSUMPTION

• Recommended amount of additive: 10-30% of membrane volume.

PACKAGING

• 1 kg sausage .

STORAGE PERIOD

• 12 months at a temperature of 5-25°C , in original, tightly closed packaging.
